On February 18, 2019, members of the Opelousas Police Department’s Special Operations Division conducted a traffic stop at the corner of Hall and Fern Street.
During the traffic stop officers discovered 3 ounces of marijuana and 2 ounces of powdered cocaine individually wrapped in 73 half ounce baggies equivalent to the street value of approximately $4,000.
Greogory Rosett II, 25 of Opelousas was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I & II narcotics LARS 40:966 A(1) & 40:967 A(1)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia LARS 40:1023
- Illegal Window Tint LARS 32:361.1
