Opelousas Police Arrest Suspect in Connection With February Shooting

Opelousas – Investigators with the Opelousas Police Department made an arrest to a previously reported shooting in February of this year. Investigators made the arrest after information was received that indicated that Mr. Jaquey Hicks was responsible for the shooting that left (3) injured after an altercation with one of the victims. During his arrest Mr. Hicks was found to be in possession of narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia. Mr. Hicks was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on the following charges:
