Parades Mostly Dry This Weekend, Then Warm and Wet

Video Forecast

Tonight: Clear sky and cold. Light freeze north. Lo: 38.

Tomorrow: Sunny sky with clouds arriving late. Mild. Hi: 65.
Sunday: Morning showers giving way to a mostly cloudy afternoon and drying out. Hi: 71.

High pressure to the northeast will continue to provide Acadiana with clear and cool conditions overnight into tomorrow. There will be another light freeze north of I-10 overnight, but we will return to the 60s by tomorrow afternoon with a light breeze. Clouds and showers move into the region Saturday night into Sunday with clearing late in the day to end Sunday. More showers return for President’s Day with humidity also on the increase for us into Tuesday. Look for showers to be the rule for the majority of next week ahead of a cold front set to move through the area late-week. We will make a run for 80 degrees before the frontal passage midweek. Then it will be back to Winter with highs in the low to mid 50s by late-week and lows also below average in the low 40s for a time. However, the sky will clear by Friday with improving conditions.
