During the week of Oct. 29, Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) will once again host “Plan Lafayette Week.”
2018 marks the fourth iteration of the week-long series of events focused on Lafayette’s Comprehensive Plan, which has been in effect since 2014.
LCG is collaborating with several community institutions to host activities around four main themes: Citizen Track, Infrastructure Track, Neighborhood Track and CREATE (Culture, Recreation, Entertainment, Arts, Tourism, Economy) Track. Details of those events will be announced over the next several days.
Although some events require registration or and RSVP to ensure adequate space. All events will be posted on Facebook at www.facebook.com/lafayettecomprehensiveplan.
The first PlanLafayette Week was held in 2014 and originally conceived to introduce Lafayette to the ideas and action items recommended in the draft comprehensive plan. Since the plan’s adoption, it has become an event series where plan successes are celebrated and new initiatives are launched.
