Opelousas, LA (KADN) — With six starters back on offense, Northwest is hoping that propels them past the second round of the playoffs.
7on7 competitions are keeping their offense sharp over the summer. Head coach Chris Edwards knows quarterback Montaze Sam sets the tone.
“He is a playmaker,” Edwards said. “Montaze Sam rushed for 1500 yards. Threw for 1700. Accounted for 45 touchdowns through the air and on the ground. Always the first guy to practice and the last one to leave. Sets the example for everybody else on the team.”
Northwest opens up the regular season against the defending state champions Eunice on September 6th.
