UPDATE: Theft Suspect Turns Herself in to Scott Police

UPDATE: According to the Scott Police Department the subject wanted in connection with a theft that happened at a local grocery store has turned herself in. 24-year-old Kori Duhon turned herself in to authorities earlier today. Duhon was found to have an active warrant through Lafayette Police Department. Duhon was transported to Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where she was booked for the warrant and 1 count of theft. No information has been provided on bonds.

 

SCOTT – The Scott Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a theft suspect.

According to officials, on Friday, December 27, 2019, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the suspect was seen walking into a local grocery store and while walking throughout the store, placed various items inside a large purse. The suspect then walked out of the store and left the area in an unknown vehicle. Video surveillance was able to capture the incident.

The suspect is described as a young, black female wearing a “leopard” print hair cover, gray tank top with pink trim, and pink pants. A tattoo can also be seen on the upper and lower right arm.
