Series of Cold Fronts to Move Through Acadiana

Video Forecast

Tonight: Warm and muggy. Isolated lingering shower or thunderstorm. Lo: 72.

Tomorrow: Warm and humid with isolated to scattered t-storms. Hi: 87. Heat index: around 90-95.
Tuesday: Warm and dry with lower humidity. Hi: 86.

A cool front is approaching from the northwest and will arrive to Acadiana by Tuesday morning. Look for a few showers or thunderstorms out ahead of the front tomorrow. Much lower humidity is in the forecast once the front passes on Tuesday. However, a return to the heat and humidity (albeit lower than last week) is expected by late this week. A strong cold front will approach from the north on Saturday and once it pushes through the Gulf Coast temps and humidity levels will drop significantly with Canadian air settling in for the weekend.

A tropical wave in the middle of the Atlantic has a medium chance for development in the next 5 days.
