Sunday:  Low: 40 High: 65 Partly Cloudy
All eyes are to the west as a squall line forms in Central and Eastern Texas. This line will provide possible severe weather as we head into the overnight hours. Before any storms arrive we are looking at 35-45 mph + wind gusts starting around 11PM in Acadiana. As we get towards midnight the squall should be getting close to the TX/LA border. From there we are expecting the line to move through the viewing area between 2AM and 9 AM in the morning. The main threat with these storms will be straight line winds producing 60-70 mph + winds along with isolated Tornadoes. If we do see any discrete cells form ahead of the line that when stronger tornadoes are possible. By mid-morning Saturday the line should be clearing the area and we will experience cool and mostly sunny conditions for the afternoon. Quiet weather continues into Sunday before more warm and wet conditions move back in next week.
