St. Martinville Prepares for a Rushing Battle against Comeaux

St. Martinville, LA (KADN) — The St. Martinville rushing attack has been critical to the Tigers success this season. The Tigers are (2-0).  Now they are facing another rushing attack, Comeaux,  that is just as lethal.

“We are looking for the defense to get some stops on defense,” running back Travien Benjamin said.  “That’s actually our strong point actually, the run defense.”

“We have to play assignment football,” Tigers head coach Vincent DeRouen said.  “You have to put on the breaks every week.  It is a little bit different.  Comeaux runs a version of the veer with a triple option and we have to be sound on defense.”
