Lafayette, LA (KADN) — After winning four state titles in school history, expectations are still as high as ever at Acadiana High School.  The Rams lost to eventual state champion Zachery in the state quarterfinals last season.  Now Acadiana is determined to make it to December and the Superdome for a state title all over again.  The last state title for the Rams was in 2014.    Matt McCullough’s team has seven starters back on offense and defense, but patience and focus are the key to returning to title glory.

“Monday we are going to work as hard as we can to get better,”  head coach Matt McCullough said.  “If it is Tuesday, we are going to do the same thing and if you do that over time you are going to have a chance to compete on Friday night, so we have a chance at the end of the season to make a run.”

Acadiana opens the season against Carencro on September 6th.
