Storms Possible for Friday

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Low 64°
Tomorrow: Mostly Cloudy, High 78°. Scattered showers and an isolated storm are possible in the afternoon hours especially. Cold front moves through in the overnight hours.
Saturday: Low: 61° Mostly Cloudy. High: 68° Mostly Sunny during the day.
The big story short term will be a cold front moving through the area. Scattered showers are possible from mid morning on tomorrow ahead of the cold front. As we get towards lunch time the chance for thunderstorms increases until about 6pm. At this time the SPC has the western half of the viewing area under a MARGINAL (level 1) risk of severe weather. Strong winds will be the biggest threat with the storms that do develop. Since they will be isolated in nature, I think that a good portion of the area will see just rain showers. The cold front itself will move through in the overnight hours and rain should end by 3am. After that, we cool back into the 60’s with dry weather for Saturday and Sunday. Our next weather maker after that will come on Tuesday as another cold front approaches.

As for Thanksgiving right now 70’s and dry weather is looking possible.

Tropics: Sebastien is still a tropical storm and could become a hurricane tomorrow. Still is no threat for us though.
