We have two weather systems that will be impacting Acadiana the first being a cold front that moves through on Thursday. We get back into the middle 80’s before showers and storms move through during the second half of the day. This front will provide short relief in the form of cooler and dryer conditions for Friday. From there, all eyes turn to this weekend. As of right now, the threat of severe weather on Saturday and the first half of Sunday is beginning to become a concern. While global models are still way off on timing, the outcome is looking more and more likely that we see severe weather here in Acadiana. As of right now, all types of severe weather look to be possible although details need to be refined over the next day or two as more model runs become available.
