Heat Advisory is in effect Monday from 1pm-7pm. Take all precautions and drink plenty of fluids. High temperatures will climb to the mid to upper 90s and feels-like temps will be between 108-110 degrees during the peak heating hours. There is a chance for widely scattered storms during the afternoon.
Tuesday looks to be the driest of the 7 day stretch. An isolated storm possible and highs near 97. Rain chances start to increase midweek through the weekend with the wettest being Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will be above average with highs in the mid to upper 90s and lows in the upper 70s.
A non-tropical low currently over the Tennessee Valley will slowly drift south into the Gulf of Mexico this week. Conditions are favorable for development with warmer than average water temps and minimal wind shear. The chance for development is now at 60% for the next five days. Biggest threat will be heavy rain.
