From the sacred to the secular, hundreds of candy-filled Easter eggs littered the grounds of Vitalant in Lafayette this morning.
The blood-services company was the site of an all-ages, old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny stopped by to greet the young egg hunters. While the kiddos hunted for Easter eggs, their parents were inside giving blood.
Vitalant Marketing Director Mitzi Breaux says the Easter Egg hunt is a fun tradition for local kids.
“We have bubble machines set up and there’s a lot of eggs. It’s really exciting to see when they walk up to see that many colorful eggs over the grass. They love when the Easter bunny comes out and they get to meet him and take pictures with him. It’s a lot of fun.”
