After what seemed like the hottest week of the summer, we got a little relief today thanks to showers and storms that rolled through this afternoon. All of that activity has ended for the evening and rain chances will be minimal for your Friday. Expect high temps to reach the mid-90s Friday but it shouldn’t feel quite as hot as it was earlier this week, thanks to that weak frontal boundary that pushed through Wednesday. Look for rain chances to ramp up going into Saturday as that front nudges its way back towards the north and brings with it plenty of Gulf moisture. The chances of scattered showers will be sticking with us through mid-week next week with daytime highs staying in the lower 90s.
