BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Due to expected cold temperatures on Friday, both in the early morning and late evening hours, tournament officials have revised the schedule of games for the UAB Blazer Classic at Mary Bowers Field.
Play was pushed back one hour on Friday, and Louisiana Softball’s contest with UAB was moved to Sunday afternoon.
No. 9 Louisiana (7-2) now begins play in the tournament on Friday at 1:30 p.m. vs. Oklahoma State (6-3). It will be the Ragin’ Cajuns lone contest on Friday.
Saturday’s schedule of games remains unchanged, with Louisiana playing a doubleheader against Oklahoma State and Ole Miss (2-8) beginning at 10 a.m.
The Ragin’ Cajuns contest with host-UAB (8-3) will now be played immediately following the conclusion of Sunday’s matchup with Ole Miss which begins at 11 a.m.
Fans can hear all of Louisiana’s games in the Acadiana region on SportsRadio ESPN 1420-AM and worldwide on the ESPN 1420 app. Live stats links can be found of the softball schedule page at RaginCajuns.com, while the UAB contest will be broadcast online through Blazer Vision.

1 p.m. – at UAB
