Tonight: Windy, cloudy and very cold. Showers ending. Wind chills: Mid 30s. Lo: 41.
Tomorrow: Clouds, then sun. Chilly and dry. Breeze lessens. Hi: 58.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a late shower or two. Cool. Hi: 61.
A northeasterly breeze will continue tonight with wind chills dropping into the mid 30s for Acadiana. You can expect a cold and cloudy start tomorrow with some moderation as the sun comes out during the day. However, clouds will return late into Thursday as an area of low pressure moves out of the northeastern Gulf of Mexico and heads away from us. There will only be a passing shower or two from this storm. Yet another mostly cloudy day will be in store for us on Friday, but we will get to the mid 60s as a consolation. Then, the really nice and warm weather arrives for the weekend with around 70 for highs and lows in the upper 40s which is average for this time of the year at night. Our next cold front arrives on Monday with rain in the forecast and a sharp decline in temps on Tuesday, much like it was this week. No severe weather is expected during the next 7 days.
